Healthy Molases Cookies

  • 3/4 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup Xylitol
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 cups flour - 1/2 of it Whole Wheat
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg (optional)

Directions:
Mix together Xylitol, egg, and molasses, then add applesauce. Mix together dry ingredients and blend into wet mixture. Form into balls. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. These cookies will be soft and cake-like rather than crispy. They are very moist and tasty.
